Works underway to repair a burst water main affecting the Ballymun and Santry areas
Irish Water, working in partnership with Dublin City Council is working to repair a burst water main in the Ballymun and Santry areas of Dublin.
Crews have been on site since this morming working to repair the burst main that is affecting up to one thousand households. The areas that may be impacted are the Ballymun, Santry, Shanowen, Shanliss and surrounding areas.
Crews are working to repair the burst safely and as quickly as possible and it is anticipated that the works will be completed late tonight. Once the repair is complete normal water supply will begin to be restored, full water supply may take some time to return as water refills the network.
Irish Water understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers.
