Water services engineers are working to complete repairs to this burst

Following a burst to a large trunk water main this morning, Uisce Éireann is working to restore the water supply as quickly as possible to approximately 2,000 customers in the Old Crotlowe Road area of Meelick.

Water services engineers are working to complete repairs to this burst and every effort is being made to reduce the impact on homes and businesses. Repairs are due to be completed by approximately 6pm, however, it may take two to three hours for normal supply to fully restore to all areas as the water refills the network, especially for those on higher ground or at the end of the network.

We regret any inconvenience as a result of this issue and thank the local community for their patience.”
