Essential water main repairs in Greenfort, Sligo, my cause some supply disruptions
Works to repair a main may cause disruption to supply for homes on Tuesday, 24 March 2020
Irish Water is working in partnership with Sligo County Council to repair a burst watermain in Greenfort, Sligo. The burst may impact the water supply to some homes in the Greenfort area. Some customers may be experiencing low water pressure and water outages at this time.
Crews are working to repair the burst as quickly and as safely as possible to safeguard the water supply for homes in Greenfort. It is expected that the repair works will commence on Tuesday morning at 10.00am and will be completed by 4.00pm.
It may take 2-3 hours for normal supply to return to all impacted customers as the network re-fills. Irish Water and Sligo County Council understand the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Sligo County Council regret any inconvenience caused.
