Works underway to restore water supply to Monivea Road customers
12 May 2021
Irish Water, working in partnership with Galway City Council, wishes to advise customers on the Monivea Road in Galway City that a burst watermain will have an impact on their water supply today.
Commenting Tim O’Connor, Asset Operations Lead for Irish Water said: "A crew is carrying out emergency repairs as quickly and safely as possible and traffic management will be in place while these essential works are underway."
"It is likely water supply will be off until 4pm today but it may take 2-3 hours for normal supply to return."
"Irish Water understands the inconvenience to customers when their water supply is affected and we would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation while this unplanned outage is attended to."
