02 June 2022
Crews are continuing works to deliver the Kilcummin Sewerage Scheme in County Kerry
Uisce Éireann, working in partnership with Kerry County Council, is providing a new sewer collection system for Kilcummin village. This scheme will reduce the reliance on on-site treatment systems such as septic tanks and package treatment plants. The project is being delivered by Coffey Construction.
What’s the latest update?
Road closure is in place on Kilcummin Road (Coolcorcoran Cross to Kilcummin Village) until 08 September 2023. Local and emergency access will be maintained at all times and diversion routes are signposted on approach.
The Kilcummin Sewerage Scheme is a long awaited and significant project for the area, Uisce Éireann, together with our Delivery partner Coffey Construction will endeavour to minimise disruption during this time and commit to keeping the local community informed. We apologise for any inconvenience that these essential works may cause and thank the community for their patience.
