Irish Water and Fingal County Council are working to restore water supply to customers in parts of Blanchardstown following a burst water main
13 January 2021
Irish Water is working with Fingal County Council to carry out urgent repairs to restore water supply in parts of Blanchardstown. Crews are working to repair the burst watermain as quickly and as safely as possible in line with Covid-19 protocols.
Properties in the following areas may be impacted by disruption to their supply while the repairs are underway; Old Corduff Road; Ashling Heights; Lissane Apartments and surrounding areas. The repairs are expected to be completed by 4pm. Once the repairs are successfully completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return as water refills the network.
Irish Water is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Irish Water would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
Irish Water understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused. Our customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1800 278 278 and customers can also contact us on Twitter @IWCare with any queries.
