By using only what we need, we can all play our part in safeguarding our water for our future.

Water covers 71% of the planet but only 1% is available to us as drinking water. We share this precious resource with every animal and plant on Earth as well as using it every day in our homes and businesses. Although there is enough annual rainfall in Ireland, we are limited in how much water we can take from the environment. By using only what we need, we can all play our part in safeguarding our water for our future.

There are a number of affordable and easy-to-use water saving devices that can help save water in homes.

Water shortages

Know what to expect during a water shortage and how we work to conserve your water supply.

Reducing leaks

Much of Ireland's drinking water is lost to leaks before it reaches our taps. To help conserve this precious resource we're investing €500 million up to 2021 in fixing leaks to provide a more reliable water supply.

Reduce the amount of water you use in your business. You will save on bills while easing demand on your local water supply.
