Ways to pay

You can pay your business water services bill in a number of ways: Use our online Pay Now service. You will need a valid Debit or Credit Card, your Irish Water account number, and your Water Point Reference Number (WPRN).

Set up a Direct Debit

Online through My Water

Over the phone by calling us on 1850 278 278 or +353 1 707 2827.

By post by completing our Direct Debit Mandate form and returning it to Irish Water, PO Box 448, South City Delivery Office, Cork City, Ireland. You will need your International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and Bank Identifier Code (BIC). These codes can be found on your bank statement or can be requested from your bank.

Pay over the phone

Pay your bill using a Debit or Credit Card over the phone. Call 1850 278 278 or +353 1 707 2827 and use the 24hr automated service or speak to an Irish Water representative 9am–5.30pm, Mon–Fri.

Pay using My Water

View and pay your bills online using a My Water account. You can also sign up for paperless billing and Direct Debit. Sign up for a My Water account or if you already have an account, log in to My Water. 

Sign Up Online

Cash

Pay your bill by cash at any retail outlet where you see the PayPoint, Payzone or PostPoint sign, or at any Post Office. Bring your bill which includes a payment slip at the bottom.

Online Banking

Pay through your bank’s online payment option. You will need to reference your 10 digit Irish Water account number and give the following International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and Bank Identifier Code (BIC):

Mybills.ie

Pay through An Post’s online service at www.mybills.ie using your debit card.

Cheque

Send a cheque made payable to ‘Irish Water’, addressed to Irish Water, PO Box 448, South City Delivery Office, Cork City, Ireland. Include the payment slip at the bottom of your bill. Please do not send cash.

Remittance advice may be sent to: remittance@water.ie

Please allow up to five days for your payment to appear on your account.

Customers with payment difficulties

We are committed to working with customers who are experiencing difficulties in paying their water bills. Please contact us to discuss helpful options that may be available to you.

Your account number

Use your new 10 digit Irish Water account number as your reference when making a payment. If you have more than one account number, please reference the relevant account number.

Receipts

Irish Water will not issue receipts for each individual payment. All of your payments will be reflected on your next Irish Water bill.
