Uisce Éireann will carry out essential maintenance works to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses supplied by Newcastle Reservoir in Limerick City over the coming weeks. These important works will commence this week and will continue until 8 March.

Uisce Éireann wishes to advise customers in Limerick City and environs, that maintenance works at Newcastle Reservoir may lead to a discoloration in their water supply, for a period of time. Customers in the following areas are likely to experience discolouration in the supply while the works are being carried out: Limerick City urban areas, Raheen, Castletroy, Dooradoyle, Mungret, Clarina, Patrickswell, Caherdavin, Athlunkard Road, Parteen, Cloonlara, Ardnacrusha and Cratloe.
