Water supply returning to customers in The Commons
Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Water supply is continuing to return to customers in The Commons area in Tipperary today. This follows a mechanical issue at the local water treatment plant over the weekend, which crews worked to rectify yesterday and last night.
Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for supply to restore to all customers affected by an unplanned outage. However, it may take longer for normal supply to be restored to customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system recharges.
Uisce Éireann’s Pierce Faherty thanked customers for their ongoing patience as reservoir levels continue to replenish over the course of the day.
We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned disruption and thank customers for their patience while crews worked to address the issues at the plant and restore supply.
Customers who are experiencing a disruption to their water supply from this evening onwards are advised to contact Uisce Éireann’s Customer Care Team, which is available 24/7 on 1800 278 278. Customers can also contact @IWCare on X.
