Trunkmain burst may cause supply disruptions to customers in Duleek, Platin, Knockisland and surrounding areas
Uisce Éireann crews are working to repair a major burst in Duleek.
Every effort is being made to maintain water supply to as many customers as possible, but the trunkmain burst may cause supply disruptions to customers in Duleek, Platin, Knockisland and surrounding areas in Co Meath.
Uisce Éireann's Michael Cunniffe assured customers that every effort is being made to carry out repairs as quickly as possible.
"We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while our crews work to ensure that a normal water supply is returned to all of our customers as quickly as possible."
Works are scheduled to be complete by 9pm tonight. Uisce Éireann recommends that customers allow two to three hours after repairs for normal supply to return to homes and businesses.
