Planned outage in Dublin 7 to facilitate essential works

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann is advising of a planned water outage which may impact customers in O’Devaney Gardens and surrounding areas in Dublin 7 on Saturday, 28 March from 9am to 5pm. The outage is necessary to facilitate essential works to the water network.

Uisce Éireann’s Sinéad Kennedy said, “We understand the inconvenience caused by an interruption to supply. We would like to thank our customers in advance for their patience and co-operation while we carry out these essential works on the network.”

Following the completion of the works, it can take three to four hours for the normal water supply to return as water refills the network, particularly for those properties on higher ground or at the end of the network.

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications from us for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. To register as a vulnerable customer or as an alternative contact, visit our Vulnerable Customers page.
