Overnight restrictions in Kenmare to enable reservoirs to recover

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section
Overnight water restrictions will continue tonight and tomorrow in Kenmare to allow reservoir levels recover and protect essential supplies during the daytime.
To allow the reservoir fully replenish and to ensure a resilient water supply, an overnight restriction will be in place from 12am until 6am tonight (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday). A further review will take place on Monday to determine if further measures are required. Customers may experience low or reduced pressure in Kenmare town, Gortamullin, Dromquinna, Templenoe, Kilmurry, Lissaniska, Dromneavane, Killowen, Caher East, Bonane and surrounding areas.
"Uisce Éireann is taking a precautionary measure by implementing overnight restrictions to help safeguard water supplies for customers across the area. The overnight restriction will support the full replenishment of the reservoir and help protect daytime water supplies," said Eoin O'Connell, Operations Manager with Uisce Éireann.
