Crews responding to burst main in Carraholly

Uisce Éireann crews are responding to a burst on a water main which is impacting supply to customers in the Carraholly area of Westport this morning.

The burst has occurred on a pipe on the Carraholly Road in Westport. As a result, customers in Carraholly and surrounding areas may be experiencing disruptions to their water supply this morning.

Crews working on behalf of Uisce Éireann are on site and repairs are expected to be completed by this afternoon.

Colette Scahill, Uisce Éireann Water Operations Manager, thanked impacted customers for their understanding while repairs are underway.

“We acknowledge the impact of an unplanned outage for our customers, and we wish to assure impacted homes and businesses that every effort is being made to fix the burst and restore normal supply as soon as possible," said Colette.
