Crews repairing burst watermain affecting Ballydasoon and surrounding areas

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann crews are working to repair a burst watermain and restore normal water supply to customers in Ballydasoon and the surrounding areas following an unplanned outage.

Repairs are expected to be completed later this evening. Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to return to all customers affected by an unplanned outage. However, it may take longer for normal supply to be restored to customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system recharges.

Alternative water supplies will be available to affected customers from 5pm this evening. A bottled water station will be located at Lombards Pub. Customers are advised to bring their own containers where possible.

Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications from us for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. To register as a vulnerable customer or nominate an alternative contact, visit our Vulnerable Customers page.
