Local Authority Data Protection Notice

This Data Protection Notice is addressed to Local Authority water services workers (who opt to remain as Local Authority employees) and who work/will work under the management and direction of Uisce Éireann pursuant to the Workplace Relations Commission document “Framework For the Future Delivery of Water Services” dated June 2022 (the “Framework”). It is also addressed to Local Authority water services workers who wish to transfer employment to Uisce Éireann.

The purpose of this Data Protection Notice is to inform Local Authority water services workers of (i) the personal data requested from the Local Authority employer in order for Uisce Éireann to (A) manage the provision of water services and (B) have the necessary management and direction of Local Authority water services staff who remain in Local Authority employment; and (ii) data collected by Uisce Éireann which we may share with your Local Authority employer in order for your employer to comply with their employment and other legal obligations.
