Two Mile Borris Water Supply Rationalisation
Uisce Éireann is commencing a project to improve the water supply in Two Mile Borris & Thurles, Co Tipperary.
This project involves constructing approximately 2.3km of pipeline connecting Two Mile Borris to the Thurles Regional Water Supply Scheme and upgrading 350m of watermain to increase reliability and stability to the ring watermain servicing Thurles town.
The new pipelines represent a major investment in improving water supply security and resilience for homes and businesses in Two Mile Borris & Thurles. The existing drinking water infrastructure in the area is not sufficient to meet current demand.
Mallwood Construction is working on behalf of Uisce Éireann to deliver this project.
Works are set to commence in late September 2025 and are anticipated to be complete by the Spring of 2026.
