M3 Parkway Dunboyne Water Network Upgrade
Uisce Éireann Growth and Development Programme
Uisce Éireann is upgrading the water infrastructure at Dunboyne, Co. Meath to support future growth and development in the area.
The works involve the installation of approx. 3km of water mains to cater for the future growth and development of the wider Dunboyne area. These works are being carried out as part of Uisce Éireann’s Growth and Development Programme and are expected to commence in June 2026.
The section of works will take place between the connection point on the R147 near Kilsaran, crossing underneath the M3, running south east on Pace Road, through private lands to the R157 Parkway roundabout, then running south west on the R157 where it will terminate at the roundabout Junction of Summerhill Road.
This project is being delivered to support existing and future developments within the community. It will improve the supply capacity of the existing water network in the area, improving performance and reducing demands on the current network.
The works will be carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by GMC and are expected to be completed by June 2027.
What are the benefits of the works?
The benefits of these water network works include:
