Uisce Éireann has completed works to upgrade the Killybegs water treatment plant.
The Killybegs Water Supply Scheme serves a population of approximately 4,000 people in the area, including the fish processing industry. The water treatment plant lacked sufficient facilities for sludge treatment.
This €12.5 million upgrade will now ensure a reliable and sustainable drinking water supply for both the residential and industrial sectors in Killybegs and the surrounding area.
EPS Group carried out the works on this project on behalf of Uisce Éireann.
