Dunbin Water Network Upgrade
Uisce Éireann is upgrading the water infrastructure at Dunbin, Dundalk, to support future growth and development in the area.
The works involve the upgrade of over 1,145 meters of existing water mains to cater for the future growth and development of the wider Dundalk area. These works are being carried out as part of Uisce Éireann’s Growth and Development Programme and are commencing in November 2025.
This €750,000 investment will enable the potential development of over 120 new homes in the community.
The section of works will take place at the R178 Carrickmacross Road, near Thomastown, and the R171 Ardee Road.
This project is being delivered to support existing and future developments within the community. It will improve the supply capacity of the existing water network in the area, improving performance and reducing demands on the current network.
The works will be carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by GMC Utilities and are anticipated to be complete in early 2026.
