Clogga Cross Water Mains Replacement

Uisce Éireann has replaced aged water mains in Clogga Cross to provide a more reliable water supply and reduce high levels of leakage in the area.

The works involved the replacement of over 2km of water mains with new modern pipes. The programme to replace the water mains in Clogga Cross will commence in September.

The section of works took place between Clogga Cross and Tubrid Reservoir in Co. Kilkenny. The works also involved laying new water service connections from the public water main in the road to customers’ property boundaries and connecting it to the customers’ water supply.

The works were carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by Shareridge Ltd.
