Works underway to restore water supply following a burst water main at Hollywood Crossroads
Repair works underway with Wicklow County Council
Irish Water is working with Wicklow County Council to carry out urgent repairs to restore water supply following a burst watermain at Hollywood Crossroads, just off the N81.
Repair
Crews are working to repair the burst watermain as quickly and as safely as possible. Some properties in the following areas may be impacted by disruption to their supply; Donard, Hollywood, Crehelp, Lemonstown, Blackmoor and surrounding areas in Wicklow. It is important to continue to follow HSE guidance on hand washing.
The repairs are expected to be completed by 9pm.
Following works
Once the repairs are successfully completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return as water refills the network. Irish Water understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Wicklow County Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
