Works progressing on the water network in Adamstown

18 May 2021

Uisce Éireann is working in partnership with South Dublin County Council to carry out essential connections on a diverted trunk watermain in the Adamstown Lucan area. These essential works are being delivered in adherence with current HSE and government COVID-19 advice.

The works are scheduled to take place from midnight Thursday 20 May until 8am on Friday 21 May 2021.

Uisce Éireann in collaboration with South Dublin County Council have reconfigured the network to maintain normal supply to as many customers as possible.

Customers in the following areas may be impacted by disruption to their supply during the works; Hill Crest; Weston; Lucan, Arthur Griffith Park; Haydens Park; Elmbrook; Castle Riada; Ballydowd; Esker; Hermitage and surrounding areas.

Uisce Éireann is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Uisce Éireann would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
