Uisce Éireann delivers upgrade to futureproof Lusmagh’s water network

Customers in Lusmagh can now enjoy a more secure and reliable water supply following the completion of essential upgrade works by Uisce Éireann.

As part of its National Leakage Reduction Programme, Uisce Éireann has successfully replaced 780 metres of ageing water mains between the crossroads at Caplevane and Lusmagh National School in Offaly. This investment will provide a more secure and reliable water supply in the area and significantly reduce leakage of treated water into the ground.

Uisce Éireann’s Portfolio Manager Dave Murphy welcomed the completion of the project. “We are delighted to have delivered these works for our customers in Lusmagh and the surrounding communities. We would like to thank the community for their cooperation and patience while these works were carried out.”

The works were carried out by Shareridge on behalf of Uisce Éireann.

The Uisce Éireann Customer Contact Centre, open 24/7 on freephone 1800 278 278, remains available to answer any queries.
