Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann is advising customers in Carrignavar and surrounding areas of a planned water outage which will come into effect tomorrow morning (Thursday, 28 May) from 9am.

This planned outage is necessary to allow for essential works at the local water treatment plant to be carried out.

The outage is expected to last until approximately 3pm on Thursday afternoon.

Edwin Barry of Uisce Éireann said this outage is necessary in order for works at the treatment plant to be carried out safely.

These are essential maintenance works which will require us to temporarily suspend processes at the plant, which will have a knock-on effect on supply for the town and surrounding areas,” said Edwin.

We understand the inconvenience caused by a planned outage but we want to assure impacted customers that all efforts will be made to complete the works as efficiently as possible in order for normal supply to be restored.
