Crews working to restore water supply in Cullen area following burst water main

Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore water to customers in the Cullen area following a burst water main.

This is resulting in supply disruption to customers in Cullen, Glenbane and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary.

Alternative water supplies are being provided in the following locations:
•    Cullen National School
•    Emly GAA Club

Uisce Éireann’s Pierce Faherty has assured customers that every effort is being made to restore a full water supply as quickly as possible.

“We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while our works continue.”

Water supply is expected to be returned to affected areas by 9am tomorrow, Monday 9 March. However, it may take longer for normal supply to be restored to customers at the end of the network or on higher ground as the system recharges.
