Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore full supply to customers in the Knocknacarra area of Galway who are being affected by supply disruptions.
Supply to Uisce Éireann customers in the area has been affected by an unexpected reduction in reservoir levels. Some customers may be experiencing intermittent outages or instances of reduced pressure as a result.
Uisce Éireann crews have been working to restore normal supply to affected customers and supply has been restored to the Ballymoneen Road and Clybaun Road areas this lunchtime.
Customers in Bushypark, Ballagh and Circular Road may continue to experience supply disruptions this afternoon. It is estimated that all works will be complete and full supply restored by 5pm this afternoon (Wednesday).
Leo O’Shea of Uisce Éireann thanked affected customers for their patience as crews work to resolve the issue.
“We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by unplanned supply disruptions such as these and we wish to thank impacted customers for their understanding as we work to restore normal supply,” said Leo.
