Crews responding to significant burst in Shannon

Uisce Éireann crews are responding to a burst water main impacting supply to customers in Shannon tonight.
The outage has been caused by a major burst to a water main in the town and is impacting customers in Shannon town, Shannon Industrial Park and surrounding areas.
Crews have been mobilised to site and are currently working to isolate the burst and begin repairs.
Darragh Conneely of Uisce Éireann assured affected customers that crews will work as quickly as possible to repair the burst and restore supply.
“We understand the inconvenience and frustration caused by unplanned outages, especially in warm weather and we wish to thank impacted customers for their patience as we work tonight to restore supply,” said Darragh.
