Information below is relevant until further updates are provided here or on our Supply and Service Updates section

Water supply has returned to Uisce Éireann customers in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown area following the completion of emergency repairs to a valve on a large water main last night.

Uisce Éireann crews worked through the night with water returning to customers in Dundrum, Marlay Grange, Balally, Gort Mhuire, Wyckham, Sweetmount, Broadford, Llewellyn, Milltown and surrounding areas at approximately 1am.

Uisce Éireann’s Daniel Kennedy thanked the community for their patience: “I would like to thank customers for their understanding while crews worked to repair the valve and restore supply as quickly as possible. We appreciate how disruptive outages like this can be, and we acknowledge the continued cooperation of the community as the network returns to normal.”

Typically, it can take three to four hours for normal supply to be fully restored to all properties after an unplanned outage. Customers located at the end of the network or on higher ground may experience longer restoration times as the system recharges.
