Scholarstown and Ballycullen Sewer Upgrade Project

Uisce Éireann working in partnership with South Dublin City Council has completed essential works to upgrade the wastewater network on Templeroan Road as part of the Ballycullen & Scholarstown Sewer Upgrade Project.

The project was completed in 2022 as part of Uisce Éireann’s Growth and Development Programme.

What was involved in the project?

• Construction of approximately 1.5km of new gravity sewer from Scholarstown Road to Firhouse Road.
• Construction of approximately 0.3km of new gravity sewer in Ballycragh park adjacent to Killinniny Road, Ballycullen.
• Construction of approximately 0.4km of new gravity sewer in Stocking Well (Woodstown Abbey to Stockwell Close).
