Scholarstown and Ballycullen Sewer Upgrade Project

Irish Water working in partnership with South Dublin City Council is undertaking essential works to upgrade the wastewater network on Templeroan Road as part of the Ballycullen & Scholarstown Sewer Upgrade Project.

These works will involve the construction of 400m of gravity foul sewer at the junction of Knocklyon Road / Templeroan Road going south to the park entrance and as part of an overall larger scheme including Ballycullen, Oldcourt and Scholarstown will increase sewer capacity in the area.  This aspect of the project is being expedited during the summer months when roads are generally quieter to limit to overall impact on the community. GMC Utilities is working on behalf of Irish Water to deliver this project.
