Uisce Éireann has invested €2.9 million on upgrades to the North Roscommon Water Treatment Plant, which has improved drinking water for approximately 6,500 people.

Uisce Éireann, working in partnership with Roscommon County Council, has invested €2.9 million to upgrade the North Roscommon Water Treatment Plant. EPS Group Limited has delivered this project on behalf of Uisce Éireann, with the project completed in Q4 of 2018.

The North Roscommon Water Treatment Plant provides water to 6,500 customers and was identified by the EPA as an “at risk” supply, and is included on their Remedial Action List (RAL).

These essential upgrade works will improve drinking water quality and safeguard water supply for residents and business across the North Roscommon Regional Water Supply Scheme.
