This project involves the rehabilitation and replacement of approximately 25km of aging water mains across Co. Meath.

This project will involve the rehabilitation and replacement of approximately 25km of aging water mains with new heavy duty plastic pipes across 16 areas in County Meath including Kells, Oldcastle, Athboy, Piercetown, Navan, Slane, Trim, Gaulstown, Ratoath, Sutherland Lane, M1 Crossing at Platin, Mornington, Rathmullen, Laytown, and Dunboyne.

Steps

  • Replacement of 1,500 customer service pipes
  • Improve water pressure as leakage of the water mains will be reduced
  • Upon completion, there will be significant improvements in network performance and levels of customer service
