Uisce Éireann application to DHLGH for a Foreshore Licence

Uisce Éireann has applied to the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage (DHLGH) for a Foreshore Licence (reference FS007605) to undertake benthic sampling in the environs of the proposed outfall pipeline (marine section). Sampling is proposed at eight locations over approximately two days during daylight hours. 

A copy of the application, map of the proposed licence area, location coordinates, the screening for appropriate assessment determination and other information and documentation relevant to the application, are available for inspection for 30 calendar days, between 2nd February 2023 and 6th March 2023, free of charge at: 

  • Malahide Garda Station, 1-2 St. James Terrace, Malahide, Co. Dublin, K36 NH50
    (Opening hours Monday to Sunday 7.00am to 9.00pm)
     
  • Baldoyle Library, The Mall, Baldoyle, Dublin 13, D13 Y304
    (Opening hours Monday to Thursday 9.45am to 8.00 pm and Friday and Saturday 9.45am to 5.00pm)

Members of the public who wish to make a submission or observation in writing concerning the Project may do so between 2nd February 2023 and 6th March 2023 (quoting ref: FS007605) to the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Foreshore Section, Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Newtown Road, Wexford, Co. Wexford or foreshore@housing.gov.ie.  The closing date for submissions is close of business (17.30) on 6th March 2023.
