Works to safeguard the water supply to homes and businesses in Howth

Uisce Éireann, working in partnership with Fingal County Council, is commissioning the new water supply infrastructure in Howth to safeguard the drinking water supply for homes and businesses. The works are being delivered in accordance with current Government and HSE COVID-19 advice.

Six kilometres of watermain have been constructed including at three railway crossings. In addition a new pumping station and chlorination building has been constructed at Dungriffen Reservoir.  The final commissioning of the works in Howth are currently underway and are scheduled to continue until Friday 10 September. While works are underway, some customers in the Howth may experience some disruption to their water supply.

Uisce Éireann and Fingal County Council regret any inconvenience caused and thank customers for their patience while we complete these essential works. Our work crews will make every effort to minimise the impact on customers.
