Works to restore water supply to customers on Donore Road, Drogheda following a burst water main
Customers may experience low pressure and/or water outages for short periods
Irish Water is working in partnership with Louth County Council to carry out essential repairs to a burst watermain in Donore Road, Drogheda. While works are ongoing customers on the right hand side of the Donore Road, from the roundabout to DPL, may be impacted by disruption to their supply.
Customers may experience low pressure and/or water outages for short periods today, Wednesday 30 April until 8.00pm. Customers may also experience temporary discoloration to water supply while repairs are being completed and it may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers. It is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
Irish Water and Louth County Council understands the inconvenience when emergency works occur and thanks customers for their patience while we complete this essential work and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Louth County Council regret any inconvenience caused.
