Works to restore water supply to a small number of properties in Balbriggan
Crews are working to repair the burst watermain as quickly and as safely as possible
Irish Water is working with Fingal County Council to carry out urgent repairs to restore water supply to a number of properties in Balbriggan. Crews are working to repair the burst watermain as quickly and as safely as possible.
Some properties in the following areas may be impacted by disruption to their supply; Grouga Lane; Balscadden; Flemington Lane and Park and surrounding areas. It is important to continue to follow HSE guidance on hand washing.
The repairs are expected to be completed by 3pm. Once the repairs are successfully completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return as water refills the network.
Irish Water understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
