Works to repair a burst watermain in Grange North
Crews are working to repair burst as quickly and as safely as possible to safeguard the water supply
Irish Water is working in partnership with Sligo County Council to repair a burst watermain in Grange. The burst may impact the water supply to homes and businesses in:
- Newtown, Ardnaglass Lower, Grogagh,
- Pine Grove area, and parts of Aghagad South of Pine Grove estate
Some customers may be experiencing low water pressure and water outages.
Crews are working to repair the burst as quickly and as safely as possible to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in Grange and surrounding areas. It is expected that the repair will be completed by 4.30pm today (Monday) and it may take 2-3 hours for normal supply to return to all impacted customers as the network re-fills.
Irish Water and Sligo County Council understand the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Sligo County Council regret any inconvenience caused.
