Irish Water Working in partnership with Fingal County Council are pleased to report that the electrical fault that caused the water outage affecting large areas of Blanchardstown, Ballycoolen, Mulhuddard and St Margaret’s has been resolved.

Works may take 2-3 hours to return

We would like to thank the crews on the ground who worked quickly to resolve the issue, and again  would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Customers  are advised that whilst the water towers at Ballycoolen are filling it may take 2-3 hours for supply to return to normal

Update at 11.30pm

Irish Water, working in partnership with Fingal County Council, are currently investigating an outage affecting large areas of Blanchardstown, Ballycoolin, Mulhuddard and St Margaret’s.

The outage appears to be caused by a lightening strike to a pumping station. 

Works are estimated to be completed by 6pm, and people are advised that supplies may take 2-3 hours for supply to return.
