Work taking place to repair a burst watermain in Blackcastle, Meath
Irish Water is working in partnership with Meath County Council to repair a burst watermain impacting Blackcastle and surrounding areas.
Customers in the following areas may be impacted by disruption to their water supply while the repair is underway; Slane Road; Blackcastle Demesne; Blackcastle Estate; Belcourt; Clusker Park; Fitzherbert Court; Bru Na hAbhainn and surrounding areas .
Crews are working to repair the watermain as quickly and as safely as possible. The estimated repair time is 9pm tonight, however, it may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as the network refills.
Irish Water and Meath County Council understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Meath County Council regret any inconvenience caused.
