Water Supply restored to customers in Ardee and surrounding areas
The water supply has been restored to customers impacted by the water outage at the Ardee water treatment plant. Irish Water acknowledge there may be a very small number of isolated areas within the supply footprint that have low water pressure. This is primary due to the configuration of the network and water pressure variations in the area. Normal water pressure will be restored throughout the day.
The water treatment plant was brought back into production yesterday morning and the water levels in the reservoirs located at Sliabh Breagh and Blakestown have been refilling over the last 24 hours. Water was restored to customers supplied from the Blakestown reservoir this morning.
