Trunk water main successfully repaired on the Stillorgan Road and water supply is returning to normal
Irish Water, working in partnership with Dublin City Council successfully repaired the trunk water main on the Stillorgan Road last night.
Supply should have returned to all customers following the completion of the repair. Full water service may take some time to return as water refills the pipe network.
After a disruption to supply some properties may experience air locks and information on how to deal with this can be found on our airlocks page.
If customers are experiencing particular difficulties please contact our call centre on 1850 278 278.
John O'Donoghue, Regional Operations Manager, Irish Water said “Repairing this trunk main was essential to help safeguard the water supply for Dublin city into the future. We would like to thank those affected for their patience and co-operation, and apologise for any inconvenience caused."
