Irish Water is working in partnership with Donegal County Council to upgrade and replace the drinking water mains and wastewater network in several locations in Letterkenny. These projects will support the economic and social development of Letterkenny by improving the security of the water supply and reducing the risk of sewer flooding in the town. These essential works will resume on Monday May 25 in line with Government and HSE guidance.

The works being undertaken to the wastewater network will reduce the risk of sewer flooding in Letterkenny and are being undertaken in phases. The project will recommence on Monday May 25 at College Road/New Road junction from 7am to 6.30pm daily. Local traffic management will be in place for the duration of the works.
