Repairs completed on Thursday, 23 November on the water supply to Rath North, Rath South, Omeath and surrounding areas
Yesterday, Irish Water and Louth County Council completed repairs to a pump which had failed at a borehole in Carlingford on Wednesday, 22 November. The temporary overnight water shut off for customers in Rath North, Rath South, Omeath and surrounding areas on Wednesday night enabled the water level in the Rath reservoir to replenish. This ensured customers had a mains water supply throughout Thursday while the repairs to the pump were carried out. Irish Water and Louth County Council thank customers for their patience and understanding while the temporary shut off was in place.
