Overnight restrictions for Croom water supply
Irish Water and Limerick City and County Council are working to restore a normal water supply to customers in Croom, Banogue and surrounding areas who are currently affected by low pressure and outages in some areas.
This is a result of ongoing issues at the borehole source which led to the reservoir draining down.
Water tankers have been deployed to refill the reservoir and maintain supply to customers in the area.
Restrictions will be in place overnight from 12am to 7am to allow water levels in the reservoir to recover. Supply should return to all customers from 7am. However it may take longer for a normal supply to return to some customers in higher areas or outlying parts of the network and there may be some intermittent outages or low pressure as a result.
Irish Water and Limerick City and County Council apologise to customers for any inconvenience as a result of this issue which we are working as a matter of priority to address.
