Network improvement works to be carried out in Cork city

Possible disruption to supply in the Blackrock area from 7pm to 11pm on Thursday, 11 August

Uisce Éireann wishes to advise customers in Kilbrack Grove, Kilbrack Lawn, Clover Hill, McGrath Park, Oakdene, Cherry Lawn, Berlingford Drive, Marian Park, Beaumont Drive Upper, Beaumont Lawn, Linden Avenue, Rosegreen Avenue, Temple Vale, Beaumont Drive, Berkley, The Crescent and surrounding areas that there may be disruption to water supply from 7pm to 11pm on Thursday 11 August. This possible outage forms part of network improvement works being delivered at McGrath Park, Church Road, Blackrock. To complete the works safely and efficiently, temporary traffic management will be in place for the works period.

During these essential works, homes and businesses in the above areas area may be impacted by reduced water pressure and water outages. Following the completion of improvement works; water supply may take 2-3 hours to return as water refills the network. Work crews will endeavour to complete works ahead of time to expedite the return of supply to the affected areas.

Uisce Éireann understands this type of work can be inconvenient and will ensure our work crews make every effort to minimise any disruption these works may cause.
