Network improvement works due to take place on Ballinlough Road, Cork City

Uisce Éireann wishes to advise customers that network improvement works, being carried out to provide a more reliable water supply in Cork City, may cause disruption to supply for some homes and businesses from 8pm to 12 midnight on Tuesday, 15 November 2022.

These works may impact on supply for properties in Ballinlough Road, Boreenamanna Road, Carrigea Park, Bernadette Way, Yorkboro, Wallace Avenue, Dunmore Lawn, Willow Lawn, Donovan Downs, The Oaks, Bellfield Abbey, Elderwood, Pic de Jer Park, Beechwood, Belmont, Somerton and surrounding areas.

Following the completion of improvement works, the water supply may take two-three hours to return as water refills the network. Work crews will endeavour to complete works ahead of time to expedite the return of supply to the affected areas.

To facilitate safe delivery of the works there will be traffic management in place during on Ballinlough Road that evening. Local and emergency access will always be maintained.

Uisce Éireann understands this type of work can be inconvenient and will ensure our work crews make every effort to minimise any disruption these works may cause.
