Meath customers who experienced outages or low pressure as a result of fault at Staleen WTP overnight will have full supply returned by this evening
9 September 2017, 1.30pm - Irish Water can confirm that customers in parts of Rathoath, Kilbride and higher areas in Ashbourne, Co Meath may have experienced water outages or low pressure as a result of a fault at the Staleen Water Treatment Plant which occurred overnight.
The problem was fixed this morning and the treatment plant has been back in full production since then.
It will be late afternoon or early evening before full supply returns to normal for those customers who have experienced outages or low pressure.
Irish Water working in partnership with Louth and Meath County Councils would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience this unplanned incident may have caused.
