Leak repair works in Vevay Road in Bray may cause supply disruption from 10pm-2am on Wednesday and Thursday
Part of national Leakage Reduction Programme
Irish Water wish to advise customers in Vevay Road, Bray that, due to leak repair works there may be a disruption to water supply from 10.00pm to 2am on Wednesday 12 and 10pm to 2am on Thursday 13 June 2019. Irish Water is currently installing 950 metres of new water mains along Vevay road and installing new service connections from the new water main to customers’ properties.
Supply may take 2-3 hours to return as network refills
During these essential planned works homes and businesses in the affected areas may be impacted by reduced water pressure and water outages. Following these improvement works water supply may take 2-3 hours to return as water refills the network.
Irish Water understands this type of work can be inconvenient and will ensure our work crews make every effort to minimise any disruption these works may cause. Irish Water would like to thank the local community for their patience during the delivery of these improvement works. Fixing the leaks
These works are being carried out as part of Irish Water’s national Leakage Reduction Programme which will, over the next 4 years, see €500 million invested to reduce the level of leakage across the country by fixing and replacing ageing water mains. This will ensure a safe, reliable water supply which is vital for our health, our environment and our growing population and economy.
