Kiltimagh reservoir to receive essential upgrade to improve supply of drinking water for local customers
Repairs will take place between August 31 and September 29
Irish Water, working in partnership with Mayo County Council, are preparing to carry out essential upgrade works which will improve the quality and security of supply of drinking water for customers in the Kiltimagh area.
Repairs to and cleaning of the reservoir will take place between August 31 and September 29 and may lead to supply disruptions for customers.
Irish Water understands the inconvenience when water supply is disrupted and thanks customers in advance for their patience while these necessary works are carried out.
Irish Water is working at this time with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Irish Water would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
