Works in Howth to safeguard the water supply may cause disruption to supply
Works in Howth tomorrow, Thursday 19 March to safeguard supply
Irish Water is progressing with works to safeguard the water supply to homes and businesses in Howth.
Connection works may cause supply interruption between 10am and 4pm tomorrow Thursday, 19 March. These works are unavoidable and are necessary to complete essential works in the area that will ensure a more secure sustainable supply.
Customers in the following areas may be impacted:
- Carrickbrack Road, Old Carrickbrack Road
- Old Thormanby Road, Sutton, Howth and surrounding areas
Customers should still have some water available for hand washing in attic storage or hot water tanks while the main water supply is disrupted.
Irish Water regrets any inconvenience caused by these necessary works and thanks customers for their patience while the works are completed.
Updates on these works are available on our Water Supply Updates page. The Irish Water customer care helpline is open 24/7 and customers can call us on 1850 278 278. Customers can also contact us on Twitter @IWCare with any queries.
